In other news, the Christmas tree is up, mom watches all these feel good fa-la-la-la-la movies and she gets visions of grandeur in her head, making her block out any and all past failed attempts for a Xmas photo, but mom had some spare time and thought "I should try to get photo of Anna and Duncan together!!"
I looked at her like she was crazy...mom...what is you thinking?? This will end in your cursing and being a grumpy elf...but whatever....
I am at full attention, then Duncan goes BLUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Hmm...Dunc you smell a little like that beef mom had, trying to bribe us for photos....why does you look like you're waiting on death row??
At this point mom sayz...and I quote "OH FOR ALL THAT'S HOLY!!!"
Sidenote, I think I had a itchy...I don't know why Duncan had an extreme close up...
Duncan finally coroperates...but wait, where's me?!?
I gave up on this trainwreck a while ago!
Mom quote "Screw it!"
Who knew getting a kitty, let a lone the spastic kitty Mia, to pose would be easier?!?!
Oh, that IS funny!! As a veteran of many, many epic fail Christmas photo sessions, this post just cracks me up. Trust me when I say - I feel your pain!! And the fact that you got the CAT in a beautiful Christmas pose is nothing short of amazing. We had a Christmas photo shoot last Friday, and the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future all smiled on us at once and we got an AMAZING shot. Words can hardly express my photo euphoria when I saw it. After I don't know, 15 years of trying...?? Lady and Lucky in particular were amazing. It was if they pose for formal pictures every day. Maybe this is an indication of how much I've taken their pictures in the past year, lol! It's too bad it contains all the people and not just the pets. I'd love to post it on my blog, but really try to keep it critters-only to protect everyone else's privacy. Anyway, take heart, one of these days maybe all the stars will align for you like they did for me this year. In the meantime, I'd make a Christmas card out of the kitty photo. That's a gorgeous shot.
ReplyDeleteCatZ... they are all a bunch of Sniff Ups.. tryin to make US look bad and stuffs. Pffffffft

I think the werds the moms say gets worser according to how many dogs they is trying to get in the pikshure. I tell you, Anna, we has kwite the colorful vocabulary ofur here, BOL!
ReplyDeletePee Ess - Mia do look like a deer caught in the headlights.
Ha ha ha! Anna, just wait until Mom gets the brilliant idea to try to get all four of us in a picture together! There's bound to be some very colorful language here then for sure! Mom says four dogs is our limit here because that's the most she can get a decent photo of! BOL!

You have a beautiful tree, Anna!
ReplyDeleteWe just put ours up an hour ago and I bet you knew what happened here. I was forced to do the modelling there for more than 30 minutes because Rosie and Dad had to try all the camera settings, modes and this and that. Luckily, my sweetest mom didn't forget to please me with lots of treats.
I hope you guys got lots of treats too!
