My New Brudder

Yesterday, mom succumbed to Puppy Madness**. A LOT of her friends have been getting cute, adorable little puppies. I think after seeing pikture after pikture after pikture, mom snapped. When I went out side I met my new brother...Fluffy von Fluffpants.

At first I thought we could be BFF.

He looked happy and nice...although I don't think he was purebred...

But then the Fluffy began trying to take my toys!!

Do what?!?! See that smirk he has from stealing my toys! I don't think so!

My TOY FLUFFY!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Hmm...not sure what happened! Mom said we'd rehome him to the squirrels/birdies nests.

Remember mom, I'm your only little girl!!
**Yes, my mom was completely sober during all of this...

  1. Anna you did right to see off the intruder for your mum's affections.

    Well done

  2. Good going, Anna! I would have done exactly the same thing, though I don't think I would have been so quick to accept him. lol

  3. We have had a few of those fluffies here too, Anna. But most of the time the wind comes along and those fluffs just blow away in the air:) We must say that your fluffie had quite the nice tail.

  5. Good for you putting that young whipper snapper in his place - that will teach him for trying to steal YOUR Mom's affection. Besides - he was totally the wrong color!

  11. Glad you added that part at the end about your mom being sober. We were starting to wonder!! So much hair is coming off Lady and Lucky right now, I could easily make them two or three new playmates. But yeah, having to share the toys would be a dealbreaker.

  13. Dad muttered something about sobriety is overrated with us around. Great story.

  17. Hey Anna!
Wow, great job. I personally see to it that I give a big grrrr to any critter who tries to scoot into my territory. I'm kinda bad that way. Anyway, I think you were right on target to run that guy off! Only one cool Anna needed per household!

  18. Hehe, Anna, you and your mom crack me up. Your little "fluffy friend" reminds me of my dog Aschiuta digging up dust and fur bunnies from under the couch and try to play with them.

I also love your idea for a tonguetastic contest and I have just the picture for it!

  20. Sometimes new brothers are okay. But NOT when they try to steal your toys (unless they're using the Power of Cute, like Kodiak).

  21. I bet your mommy doesn't try that one again!
I wouldn't know what to think if I was the only doggie in this house.

  22. Woo...Harley and Gibson were not too thrilled when we first brought home the three pupsters, but now they're all family (translated: they know to bow to Harley the queen!)

Keep your place as "queen" Anna, but the pup sure is cute!
