Cha cha changes!

Mom and dad made a change...without consulting me. Apparently, THEY decided we needed new furniture, which meant getting rid of MY loveseat. What the crap people?!?!

Sure, the old couch and loveseat were kinda beat up, or as I like to say "lived in" and "well loved" but why toss them out? I mean, so what if all the recliners were broke and one stayed out permanantly no matter what. That's what we call character!!

And the best thing about the old furniture, I had it well worn in to Anna sleeping spots...it was a great place to crash...for friends:

Or just for a lazy afternoon....

Sure, we may have had a few "run ins" but I ask you, does this little character flaw that just "appeared" on it own and had nothing to do with a pissy puppy make it worth tossing?? Memories people!! Memories!!!

I had my doubts...then the new couch showed up. Hmm...kinda comfy....hmm...kinda nice to stretch out....hmm...yawn...kinda..ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.......

  1. Its terrible when humans make such decisions without consulting those who use the furniture the most

  2. Oh, I just went through this with my family a few months ago. While nothing will replace your beloved couch... the new one won't be so bad!

  3. New FURNITURE! It is the WORST! First you gotta stay off it - then they put a yucky blanket over it and make you stay ON TOP of the blanket if you wanna sit on the new couch - It could be YEARS before you can sit on a new loveseat and call it your own.

  5. We worry about new stuff coming too, then we might hear the NO, OFF command. But you seem to be doing quite well with your new comfy sofa.

And Mom says your Mom has a great idea there about those deductions, especially with four of us and no more dependent kiddos in the household.

  7. I had my name toofed into my furniture, too, but my signature do not be as big and swirly as yours, Anna. In fact, my old furniture had about the same fabric design as your old furniture. Do us shepherds has good taste or wot?

  8. Whoa!! The difference between Couch #1, and Couch #2 is pretty dramatic!! I bet Couch #2 doesn't have your special scent on it either. And how are you going to remedy that with that darn blanket on there??

  9. WHOAH! Your family gets rid of your couch and you get to go on your NEW couch?! Could ya have your peoples get in touch with MY peoples, and tell them that that's the way to do it?! Nala and I haven't been allowed on our 'couch invader' since it's come into our home... It's not like there's not enough room for ALL of us... sheesh!

    Woofs & huggies! <3

  10. Haha! The best place in the world is the dog's snoozy spot. Nyxie has a "nest" in the middle of the couch, piled hight with soft comfy pillows. Spoiled rotten.

  11. It can be hard to adpat, but now you have the opportunity to make this new couch just the way you want it. It'll take lots of naps to break it in.
