A very bunny weekend!

And by "bunny" I mean busy, not Bunny the greyhound!! (Although a BUNNY weekend would be awesome! We could trade fashion advice and stuff!!) Mom was off Friday, but she spent the majority of Friday and Saturday preparing for dad's side of the family to visit for Easter!

There was a lot of cookin' and cleanin' and stuff. I supervised of course, and taste tested a few items to make sure no one got food poisoned. On Sunday they came down, it was Granny and Papa (dad's parents) and dad's sister and her family and dad's brother and his family.

It was a lot of people, but I did good. Much less spazzy than I was two years ago when they came down for last Easter. But when they left, mom and dad just COLLAPSED on the couch...I joined them. Entertaining is hard work!!

After they left and we had a good snooze, the Easter bunny brought me a blue bunny. I have tried, unsuccesfully, to remove his eyes. But it's only a matter of time.

Today we're watching more possible bad storms (BOO!!!) and hoping it's nice and quiet. Tomorrow I'll post about my adventure last involves tents and bears. Any guesses??

  1. OOOOH me guessing you went camping???

  2. It was crazy busy here on Easter too - lots of family and lots of good food - we all got to have some turkey too.

Did you go camping? Did you see a bear? Do tell, Anna.

Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara

  3. Tents and Bears!!! OMG that sounds scary, unless it's teddy bears of course and they're fine. Good luck with the eyes on that bunny, you keep at it, they'll come out. Dex & Lou

  4. Oh Anna... you got a Blue Bunny fur Easter too?? I have kept mine all nice and "NEW" also, well except fur its ears.. which are now kinda stiff... hehehe

HEY... no fair makin us WAIT to hear.. I can...
    BEAR-ly stand it. HURRY girrrl.
PeeS, I am sure that a weekend with Bunny the GH would be a blast fur you.

  5. Kill the bunny - Kill the bunny - Kill the bunny !!! Of coarse you have to make it blind first so it won't see what is coming next - a good de-stuffing !!!

  6. Oooooo! Camping? I can't wait to hear about that!

Oh, I would love to spend the day with you! Think of all the fun and shopping and fashion talk we could do! It would be fantabulous!

  7. Well YOU had a busy Easter! Keep working at the blue bunny...they don't need eyes anyway.

  8. Glad you had a nice Easter with your relatives. Be careful with those storms - we've got some coming too.

  9. Good going Anna!! We are proud of you for tasting the food to make sure nobody got food poisoning!! The blue bunny is going to be in trouble can do it!!! Tents and bears...oh my!!! We hope everything is okay where you live with those horrible storms...please please stay safe. Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

  10. Ah, yes, taste testing - the most important job of ALL! Love the blue bunny - it sets off your fur beautifully!

Tents and bears - we can't wait to hear this story!

Oh, yeah, our folks aren't that great at the plant thing either :)

    The Road Dogs

  11. Tents and bears.... oooo.... we only enjoying watching the bears from INSIDE the house! Not a tent! Thinking about you all tonight, hoping you were not in the path of the tornadoes. :/

  12. What a good girl to help mama with all the preparations!! Stay safe, y'all!!

  13. I hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday, Anna!

    Woofs & hugs,

  14. Oh boy - no more storms!!! Nice bunny. Marley got a green one and he's got the ears almost off. If he didn't have 50,000 other chew toys the ears would have been off by now! Company is tiring, especially for me since I have to be the guard dawg the whole time they're there!

  15. Bears?! Geez.... do we want to know?!

  16. Tents and bears! I can hardly wait to hear!

Please let the Bunny keep her eyes!
