Death of the Orange Ball

For Howl-a-ween I thought I'd share a weird event that happened yesterday...

Mom and dad went to the store, and then they came home with two orange balls.

Thet set them outside, then they brought out KNIVES!! Then they STABBED the balls and then began tearing out their insides! OMG it was horrible! I thought mom and dad had turned into orange ball cereal killers! But then I tasted a part of the insides and realized they were quite yummy...and familiar....it tasted like the canned pumkin mom gives us from time to time!!

So this is where canned pumkin comes from!! Mom said they had to carve the pumkins for the trick or treaters who would come by last night. So, since there was a job to do, I supervised!!

Mom...you're a KILLER! I want no part of this!

Oh wait....nom nom...this is yummy!!!

Here, you missed a spot...let me get that for you!

Hey, it's got a handle!

Mom stopped me before I ran off with the pumpkin's top!!

TA-DAH! Mom and dad's work or art. Mom did the spooky one, dad did the cute one!

Here they are outside all lit up! Mom has no idea why dad decided to sneak in the back of the pikture!!

We had A LOT of trick or treaters and I got to stay and watch them. I only woofed a few times. Mom and dad were handing out candy in between watching the Auburn Tigers win their game! The streak of the lucky collar lives on!!
Have a great day, dont' eat any of your peoples candy, it's not good for puppers!!

  1. What can I say - holidays make humans do crazy things.

We didn't carve a pumpkin this year, so we'll live vicariously through yours - nice work!

  2. It really must be a strange thing for dogs to see us doing this to our pumpkins...But then again, maybe they're proud of us for making such a great "kill". Happy Halloween!

  3. Hello Ann!

Those are great pumpkin'o lanterns! It's funny that your Dad was the one who made the cute one and your mom that scary one! heehee!

You did a good job supervising them plus you got treats along the way. That's our kind of job.

    Boo! Trick or treat!

  5. Your humans did an awesome job with those big orange balls. Our Mom came home with some roasted pumpkin seeds from the grandbipeds house but she said we can't have any because they are too salty - sheesh.

Our trick or treaters are coming tonight, at least we think they are.

    Happy Howl-o-ween!

  10. Anna, you did better than Morgan did last night! Holy cat feathers, she did not like the people walking past our house. She did better with them at the door than we expected, but she popped one little girl with her nose, although that particular girl was trying to take way too much candy! I had no idea your parents were killers, though. I'm shocked!

  11. Those are definitely the scariest and the cutest big orange balls that your pawrents got from the shop!

By the way, you're such a good doggy, Anna. You behaved so well when the little trickers came!!!
